President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent bomb attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, which resulted in loss of lives and injuries to several citizens.
In a statement released by his media office, President Tinubu described the attacks as “desperate acts of terror” and a sign of the success achieved in degrading the capacity of terrorists.
He assured that his administration will not allow the nation to be plunged into fear, tears, and sorrow, and vowed that the purveyors of violence will face justice.
The President condoled with the victims, families of the deceased, and the government and people of Borno State, while emphasizing that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens and redouble efforts to eliminate those who threaten the nation’s peace and security.
This statement comes after a series of bomb attacks in Borno State, which has left many dead and injured.
