Gov Aiyedatiwa presents operational vehicles to security agencies in Ondo State

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has presented 25 Hilux vehicles to various security agencies in the state to boost their operational capacity.

The vehicles are the first batch of a series of logistical support promised by the administration to enhance security in the state.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony on Wednesday, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the crucial role security agencies play in safeguarding lives and properties.

He acknowledged the increased need for security during election periods and promised continued support to security agencies.

The Governor also assured that the vehicles would motivate and assist security agencies in their critical duties, and those who did not benefit from this batch would receive their vehicles soon.

He urged the security agencies to make good use of the vehicles to maintain law and order in the state.

The Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi, and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Mr. Gbenga Atiba, thanked the Governor for the vehicles, while the Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abayomi Oladipo, assured that the vehicles would be used strictly for security purposes.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prince Segun Omojuwa, and other dignitaries.
