Hon. Abiola Makinde, the Director General of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Council, commended the peaceful conduct of the electoral process after casting his vote at Ward 7, Unit 10, Iluyemi, Ondo West Local Government Area.

Speaking to journalists, Makinde expressed satisfaction with the overall organisation and turnout of voters.

He acknowledged the efforts of INEC and security agencies, noting their efficiency in ensuring a smooth and credible process.

“INEC and security agents have done a fantastic job. The turnout has been impressive, and it’s great to see people exercising their franchise without fear or hindrance,” he said.

Makinde dismissed claims of violence or arrests involving APC members by the DSS, stating that he was unaware of such incidents.

“To the best of my knowledge, there has been no record of violence or crisis in this area. It’s commendable that people could walk to polling units without any problems,” he added.
