President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State following his swearing-in for a fresh term in office.
The inauguration, which took place in Akure, the state capital, marks the beginning of a new chapter for Aiyedatiwa, who previously succeeded the late Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
In his message, President Tinubu urged the governor to use his renewed mandate to drive development, expand economic opportunities, improve security, and enhance critical infrastructure for the people of Ondo State.
He encouraged Aiyedatiwa to build on the legacy of his predecessor, whom he described as an illustrious leader dedicated to the state’s progress.
“I congratulate you for your successful inauguration today for a new term of office after an outstanding run in the last governorship election in Ondo State,” Tinubu stated.
He also noted that: “You have a rare privilege to succeed your illustrious predecessor, who worked for the growth and development of the state and advanced the progress of Nigeria as a whole. Having been sworn in today for a fresh term in office, I urge you to work in the best interest of the people of the state and our country as a whole. I will be your partner in progress to usher in a new era of prosperity to the people of Ondo State.”
