Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo: Calm and orderly voting process

In Ward 004, unit 009 of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area, the electoral process unfolded in a calm and orderly manner.

Yunus Yusuf, the INEC presiding officer at the unit, described the turnout of voters as average but satisfactory, noting that those who showed up displayed commitment to exercising their democratic rights.

“The process has been peaceful so far, with no incidents of violence or disruption. Everything has gone smoothly,” Yusuf said.

He also confirmed that the counting of votes was scheduled to commence at 2:30 p.m.

The serene atmosphere at the polling unit reflected the community’s determination to maintain peace and order throughout the electoral exercise.

As voters awaited the next phase, hopes were high for a transparent and credible outcome.
