Professor Yinka Olomojobi of the Department of Law at Babcock University, Ilishan, Ogun State, has been shot dead.

Two others were abducted by terrorists at the weekend in the Gateway State.

Freedom Online learned that the professor was killed when he refused to be abducted by the terrorists.

The heavily-armed gunmen, dressed in black, struck at Ajadeh Event Centre on Sagamu Road, Iperu.

An eye witness said some people were injured while trying to escape from the scene.

He also disclosed that a businessman known as Mr. D and another person were taken away by the gunmen.
