In a significant move to reinforce community policing and deepen institutional collaboration, the Assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 17, AIG Ajani Musibau Omolabi, has paid a courtesy visit to the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Victor Adesimbo Kiladejo, Jilo III.
The visit, which took place as part of the Zonal Command’s outreach strategy, underscores the importance of traditional rulers in fostering security and social harmony across communities.

Welcoming the royal host with warm regards, AIG Ajani reiterated the Nigerian Police Force’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property throughout the state.
He emphasised that the support of respected monarchs and traditional institutions plays a pivotal role in advancing peace, promoting mutual trust, and encouraging grassroots participation in security initiatives.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Kiladejo, expressed his appreciation for the visit, lauding the professionalism and dedication displayed by AIG Ajani and his team.

He pledged the full cooperation of the Ondo Kingdom, assuring the police of the community’s readiness to assist in the collective quest for a secure and stable environment.
Osemawe stated that the engagement stands as a testament to AIG Ajani’s proactive leadership and his vision for a policing approach rooted in dialogue, partnership, and inclusivity.
