President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate exchange of leadership between the Pro-Chancellors and Chairmen of the Governing Councils for the Federal University Oye-Ekiti and the Federal University Lokoja.
Under the new arrangement, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, who previously served as the Pro-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, will now assume the same role at Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
Meanwhile, Engineer Kayode Ojo, who held the position at Oye-Ekiti, will take up the corresponding role at Lokoja.
In a press release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, he said this strategic reshuffling aligns with President Tinubu’s broader vision of promoting diversity and fostering national cohesion in the administration of the nation’s universities.
“The move underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring effective leadership and balanced representation across educational institutions,” he said.
