…IDA hails Aiyedatiwa
The Idogun Development Association (IDA), the umbrella body of indigenes of Idogunland at home and abroad, has congratulated one of its own, Mr Idowu Ajanaku, on his recent appointment as the Commissioner for Information in Ondo State by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
In a press statement signed by the association’s Media Officer, Mary Agidi, and made available to Nigerian Monitor on Wednesday, the President of IDA, Engr Tunji Ajibolade, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa for what he described as a strategic and well-deserved appointment.
Ajibolade praised Mr Ajanaku as a seasoned media professional with a distinguished national profile and a solid track record of excellence in public communication and policy advocacy.
Describing the appointment as a moment of pride for the entire Idogun community, Ajibolade said the commissioner’s integrity, experience, and professionalism would play a vital role in promoting the governor’s agenda and policy thrust across the state.
He added that the association was confident in Ajanaku’s ability to discharge his duties with honour and diligence.
“As an accomplished media strategist with national exposure, Mr Ajanaku’s inclusion in the State Executive Council is not only a plus for the government but a recognition of merit,” the IDA president said.
Ajibolade further urged the new commissioner to uphold the principles of transparency, commitment to public service, and communication ethics in his new role.
He also encouraged him to use the opportunity to champion developmental initiatives that would positively impact Idogunland, in line with the objectives of the association.
“On behalf of all IDA members, we offer our prayers for divine guidance, strength, and protection as he embarks on this new chapter of leadership and public service,” the statement concluded.
