Chairman and Founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has pledged a cash reward of $500,000 to Nigeria’s Super Eagles should they secure victory in their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash, alongside additional goal-based incentives.

Rabiu made the pledge on Saturday in a message shared via his official X handle, following the Super Eagles’ impressive 2-0 victory over Algeria in the quarter-final of the 2025 AFCON.

Congratulating the team, the industrialist hailed their performance as inspiring, noting that the players had lifted the spirit of the nation with their display against the North Africans.

“To encourage you, I pledge USD $500,000 to the players upon winning the semi-final, with an additional USD $50,000 for every goal scored,” Rabiu said.

He added that further rewards await the team should they progress to lift the trophy, pledging $1 million for winning the final, as well as $100,000 for each goal scored in the title decider.

Rabiu urged the players to maintain their momentum and continue to make the country proud as they advance in the tournament.

Nigeria booked their semi-final spot after a dominant 2-0 win over Algeria at the Stade de Marrakech on Wednesday.

The Super Eagles will now face host nation Morocco in the semi-final on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
