Sanwo-Olu heads APC National Campaign Council for Ondo election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially inaugurated its National Campaign Council for the upcoming Ondo State governorship election, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as Chairman and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as Secretary.

The inauguration ceremony, held in Akure on Monday, was attended by notable figures including Governors Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.

While performing the inauguration of the council, the National Chairman of APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje urged members of the committee to leave no stone unturned at ensuring victory for the party’s flagbearer.

Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed confidence in Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s achievements, citing his impressive track record over the past 10 months.

He promised an issue-based campaign, ensuring a free, fair, and credible election on November 16.

The candidate of the APC in the November 16 election, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and vision, acknowledging his contributions to the party’s strength and prosperity.

He highlighted his administration’s achievements, including the construction of over 70 kilometers of rural roads, job creation, enhanced healthcare delivery, and community development.

The APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, declared that history has been made with prominent opposition figures joining the APC ahead of the election.

He expressed confidence in achieving over 80 percent success in the coming election.

Hon. Isaac Kekemeke, APC National Vice Chairman (Southwest), stated that the electorate is eager to deliver votes, aiming for nothing less than 85 percent of total votes for the party.

The Director General of the Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Committee, Hon Abiola Makinde, also expressed confidence in a landslide victory for the APC.
