Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federated Chapel, on Monday received brand-new tablets through a donation by the Chief Press Secretary to the Ondo State Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
The tablets were presented to the exco of the chapel at the office of CPS, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure.
The gesture was described by the Chairman of the chapel, Mr Alaba Aliu, as a boost to members’ professional development.
Aliu, while expressing appreciation to Adeniyan for providing the devices to all members, said the donation is expected to support journalists in carrying out their professional responsibilities in an increasingly digital media environment, where access to information, online research and timely news production are essential to newsroom operations.
He commended Adeniyan for the initiative, describing it as a demonstration of goodwill and support for the welfare and professional advancement of members of the chapel.
