In a bid to further strengthen healthcare delivery in Ondo State, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has approved the appointment of Dr Olusegun Victor Ategbole as the new Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals’ Management Board.
The appointment, which takes immediate effect, follows the redeployment of the former chairman, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti, who now serves as the Secretary to the State Government.
The announcement of his appointment was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.
Dr Ategbole, a seasoned medical professional with over 30 years of experience, has practised extensively across various hospitals and health institutions in both Nigeria and the United States.
Known for his dedication to public health and medical excellence, he is expected to bring a wealth of expertise to the board.
A native of Oka Akoko in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state, the new chairman has been tasked with the responsibility of revitalising the state’s healthcare system.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence in Dr Ategbole’s ability to reposition healthcare services and charged him to utilise his vast experience in delivering quality health management to the people.
