Comrade Samuel Fajana, the Oloriodo of Isinkan land has announced that markets and shops in the community will remain open for business transactions on Tuesday.

Fajana, who is the official Youth Leader of Isinkan Kingdom congratulated the people of Akure on the upcoming 2024 Aheregbe festival, but maintained that traditionally, Isinkan people have nothing to do with the festival.

Fajana emphasized that Isinkan is a separate community with its own traditions and festivals, and that all markets and shops in Isinkan will remain open for business during the Aheregbe festival.

He invited the people of Akure to shop in Isinkan during the festival, as has been the tradition.

The Youth Leader highlighted the historical significance of Isinkan and its distinction from Akure, noting that the two communities were once separate villages that have since been linked by expansion and civilization.

He wished the people of Akure a successful celebration and expressed his goodwill as a neighbour.
