The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, on their swearing-in, expressing confidence in their leadership and calling for increased youth representation in governance.

In a statement signed by the State APC Youth Leader, Comrade Adeyemo Olalekan, the youth wing described Aiyedatiwa as a visionary leader who has positioned Ondo State for progress.

“Your Excellency has demonstrated uncommon leadership with purpose and vision. Under your leadership, Ondo State has witnessed remarkable development on all fronts. As you take the oath of office today, we pray for divine wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to guide you in piloting the affairs of our dear state to greater heights,” the statement read.

The group commended the governor’s dedication to youth empowerment, acknowledging his efforts in appointments, employment, and economic opportunities over the past year.

However, they urged him to expand these efforts in his new administration, advocating for more government positions and programmes that directly benefit young people.

“We deeply appreciate your fatherly love and unwavering support for the youths. We, therefore, use this medium to seek even more appointments, employment, and empowerment opportunities for young people in the new government,” Comrade Adeyemo added.

The statement concluded with prayers for continued success and progress under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, reaffirming the commitment of Ondo APC youths to supporting his administration’s vision for the state.
