At Unit 001, Alajue 2, Ward 8, Ede South, an over-70-year-old voter, Apostle Adebayo Olajide Pebo, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security operatives for the smooth conduct of the Osun State governorship election so far.

Apostle Pebo, who said he arrived at the polling unit at about 8:30 a.m., expressed satisfaction with the conduct of voters and the general atmosphere at the polling unit.

According to him, “INEC and security operatives have done well so far, and we are pleased with them.”

He, however, noted that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) was slowing down the accreditation process due to what he described as its slow capturing ability.

Despite the delay, he said voters had remained peaceful and orderly throughout the process.

He urged voters to remain calm and continue to conduct themselves peacefully as the electoral process progresses.
