FC Moyero unveils selected players for 2026 International Scouting Tour final evaluation match

Excitement is building among young football talents in Ondo State following the release of the list of players selected for the final evaluation match of the FC Moyero International Scouting Tour 2026.

The scouting programme, being organised by FC Moyero International in collaboration with FIFA-licensed players’ agent, Jacky Mouyal, is aimed at identifying promising footballers for potential opportunities in professional football.

According to the list released by the organisers, players were selected from various football academies and clubs across Ondo State after a series of screening exercises.

The selected players are expected to converge on the Akure Township Stadium for the final evaluation match, which will serve as the concluding stage of the scouting exercise.

Among those shortlisted from Moyero FC are Luke Kingsley and Olaomo Samad, while Sunshine Stars Under-19 Team A produced Ugocchukwu Lawrence and Shuaib Yakubu.

Sunshine Stars Under-19 Team B also had a strong representation with Richard Christopher, Nanna Sochima, Adekayero Damilola, Balogun Opeoluwa and Bashiru making the final list.

Other selected players include Loni Ogunleye of Matrix FC, Olabode Miracle of Royal Godwin FC, Owodeni Fawaz of Victory FC, Osadunmi Seyi of Saint FC and Salawudeen Basit of RFO.

From Adeleke Football Academy, Kolamiposi Oluwasiji earned selection, while Agbana Wonderful Football Academy contributed Adeleye Babatunde and Agbana Johnbosco.

Jerry of D Shack FC also made the shortlist, alongside Adetola Samuel and Dotun Adebayo of WonderXchange FC.

Optimum FC players Dokita Samuel and Hussein Abdulrazaq were equally selected for the final phase of the scouting programme.

Akure United had the highest number of players on the list, with Ugboh Chinedu Daniel, Yunus Abdulqudri Daniel, Oluwole Eniola David, Ofamata Success Chisom and Oluwole Kehinde all earning places in the final evaluation exercise.

The organisers described the final evaluation match as a crucial stage in the scouting process, where selected players will be assessed on their technical ability, tactical awareness, physical fitness and overall potential by scouts and football development experts.

The FC Moyero International Scouting Tour has continued to provide a platform for young footballers to showcase their talents and pursue opportunities in professional football both within and outside Nigeria.

Participants, coaches and football enthusiasts have expressed optimism that the initiative will help expose local talents and contribute to grassroots football development in Ondo State.
