Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji has condemned Saturday’s attack on a vehicle belonging to the lawmaker representing Okitipupa Constituency 1, Mr. Chris Ayebusiwa, along Adesida road, Akure.

The Speaker, who described the attack as barbaric and condemned it in strong terms, made this known in an official statement made available to journalists on Sunday, through the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Mr Olatunji Oshati.

While expressing displeasure at the development and urging individuals to refrain from pointing accusing fingers at any group, the Speaker called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter with a view of bringing the culprits to book.

Oladiji, who sympathised on behalf of other lawmakers with Ayebusiwa on the unfortunate incident, described the action of the alledged hoodlums as uncalled for, saying such is capable of disrupting the existing peace in the State.
