The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has felicitated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, OON, on her 66th birthday.
Yilwatda, in a birthday message issued on behalf of the APC National Working Committee, leaders and members of the party, described Senator Tinubu as a woman whose years of public service, compassion and commitment to humanity have touched many lives across the country.
The APC chairman described the First Lady as a “true mother of the nation”, noting that her compassion and interventions have extended beyond political, ethnic, religious and geographical boundaries.
He specifically highlighted her Renewed Hope Initiative and interventions in education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, as well as support for vulnerable Nigerians, saying they demonstrated her commitment to restoring dignity and giving hope to Nigerians.
According to him, Senator Tinubu’s acts of kindness and commitment to humanitarian causes have made her a source of comfort and inspiration to many Nigerians.
Yilwatda also acknowledged the First Lady’s support for her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly as the administration implements its economic transformation and national renewal agenda.
He said her “strength, wisdom, prayers and understanding” had provided an important pillar of support to the President as he undertakes the responsibility of steering the country towards greater prosperity.
The APC chairman prayed that God would continue to strengthen and preserve Senator Tinubu, while granting her good health, wisdom, grace and renewed energy.
He also prayed for greater fulfilment in the years ahead and for continued blessings upon her family and union with the President.
“May God continue to bless your union with Mr President, bless your family and grant you both the strength and wisdom to continue serving our dear nation,” Yilwatda said.
He wished the First Lady a happy 66th birthday and prayed that her life would continue to be a blessing to Nigeria and humanity.
