Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has approved the confirmation and appointment of 32 officers as Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
The governor said the appointment was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and public administration.
The appointments, which take effect from February 1, 2026, were announced in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Monday.
Those confirmed as Permanent Secretaries are Mrs Tayo Ogundare, Mrs Morayo M. Bayo-Philip, Adeyemi Sule, Mrs Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi, Olanrewaju Abiodun, Tope Lebile, Stephen R. Aworere, Omotayo Akeju, Olufemi Moyinolorun, Olakunle Ajibade, Mrs Oluwakemi Akinyemi, Bamidele Daisi, Engr. Akinluyi Omotola, Olumide Kinga, Mrs Ope Adetoye, Olusiji Olatunji, Mrs Oluseyi Odusola, Mrs Funke Adelayi, Dr Akindele Ige, Olanrewaju Akarakiri, Dr Mrs Abike Ilawole, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, Kolawole B. Kayode, Dr Peter Akingbade, Ayodeji Ogudare, Adeduro Niyi Akinbola, Engr. Ibidapo Ojo, Olusegun Orisabinone, Surv. Idowu A. Owolabi, Adeoye O. Atibioke, Mrs Toyin O. Awotoye and Ayodeji Ayeku.
In addition, the governor approved the confirmation of Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General, while Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape was confirmed as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed officers will hold on a date to be announced later.

Furthermore, the Governor has approved the confirmation of the following officers into key statutory positions:
