Guber election: Gov Aiyedatiwa assures Akoko South East of improved security, infrastructure

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State continued his campaign tour across the state, visiting various communities in Akoko South East Local Government Area on Thursday.

He assured the people that his administration will spread developmental projects across all parts of the state, ensuring inclusive governance.

At the palace of Oba Akinyele Akinsunloye Oyolola, the Olisua of Isua Akoko, Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasised security as a top priority, highlighting efforts to equip security outfits with operational vehicles and collaborate with other agencies to protect livelihoods.

He also promised to upgrade healthcare services and address the Isua road issue.

In his address, the monarch praised the Governor for appointing community indigenes to his government, fostering a sense of belonging.

Governor Aiyedatiwa appealed to the people to translate their support into votes in the November 16 gubernatorial election, emphasising the importance of consolidating progress and protecting development initiatives.

During stops at Ipe Akoko, Ipesi Akoko, and Ifira Akoko, the Governor expressed gratitude for the warm reception and encouraged the community to vote for continuity and progress.

He stressed that the election is a defining moment, urging the people to stand with his administration at the polls.
