2024 election: Ondo Obas are for Aiyedatiwa – Olowa of Igbara-Oke

The Olowa of Igbara-Oke, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, has endorsed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for the November 16 governorship election, citing him as the best candidate for Ondo State.

Oba Agbede praised Governor Aiyedatiwa’s listening ears and respect for the traditional institution, noting his impressive achievements in just ten months in office.

During a consultation visit to Igbara-Oke, the Governor received a warm welcome from traditional rulers and residents.

High Chief Wemimo Olaniyan, speaking on behalf of Ijare’s traditional rulers, commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s achievements and requested completion of the Oke-Odu to Ijare road and other community projects.

Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa assured prompt attention to these needs, emphasising his people-centered development agenda.

Aiyedatiwa also broke ground on the Ijare Central Market construction project, aimed at boosting local trade.

At the palace of the Alara of Ilara-Mokin, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti praised the Governor’s developmental efforts and the assurance to address community needs.

The Governor reiterated his commitment to delivering lasting infrastructure and improved services, thanking the people for their overwhelming support.

With the backing of Ondo State’s traditional rulers, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s campaign continues to gain momentum ahead of the November 16 election.
