Guber election: Crowd of supporters welcome Aiyedatiwa in Ondo South …Gov promises more developmental projects

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has concluded the third leg of his senatorial campaign flag-off in Ondo South with a rally in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area, promising continued development for the state.

Addressing a large crowd at the campaign ground on Wednesday, Aiyedatiwa assured that his administration’s achievements so far are just the beginning, with more impactful projects to come.

Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted the strong unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC), thanking the party’s supporters for their overwhelming backing, which he attributed to his administration’s tangible development in the state.

He urged the people to translate their support into votes during the November 16 governorship election, in order to keep moving Ondo State forward.

Addressimg the crowd, Chief Olusola Oke, a former gubernatorial aspirant and prominent APC leader, expressed confidence in the party’s stronghold in the southern district.

Also speaking, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, reinforced the message of progress, emphasising that the governor’s leadership has brought unprecedented growth to the region.

Hon. Abiola Makinde, Director-General of the Aiyedatiwa Campaign, called on APC members to remain united and focused.

APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, assured the governor that the party is prepared to win in all the 18 local government areas of the state.

The Wednesday rally was part of Aiyedatiwa’s campaign for the November 16 governorship election.

The local government leg of the APC gubernatorial campaign is set to begin on Friday, in Akure South Local Government.

It will be recalled that recently, Ilaje PDP leaders, including former Commissioner, Lebi Adepiti and former OSOPADEC Chairman, Debo Ajimuda, defected to the APC, endorsing Aiyedatiwa.

Additionally, Ondo Reps members have pledged their support for the governor.

Okitipupa APC leaders have also rallied behind Aiyedatiwa ahead of the election.
