Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has declared Monday, October 7, 2024, a public holiday to commemorate World Teachers Day.

Adeleke said this honour is to recognise teachers’ invaluable contributions to education in Osun, Nigeria, and globally.

Governor Adeleke congratulated teachers, stating: “My administration will continue to support you, ensuring your happiness and fulfillment as knowledge purveyors in Osun.”

He encouraged teachers to reflect on the state’s education sector during the holiday.
