Ondo Police Command celebrates newly promoted officers

Ondo State Police Command has decorated senior officers who received promotions recently, marking a joyful moment for the force.

Former Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, John Agwoye, was elevated to Deputy Commissioner of Police, while Kabiru Akinroye, Officer in charge of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, became an Assistant Commissioner of Police.

Sixteen Superintendents of Police were also promoted to Chief Superintendents of Police, including DPOs Ijoka, Otu, Bolorunduro, and Okeigbo.

Commissioner of Police Abayomi Peter Oladipo congratulated the promoted officers, emphasising that higher ranks bring greater responsibilities.

He urged them to serve as role models for their subordinates and ambassadors for the Nigeria Police.

Responding ,Deputy Commissioner of Police Agwoye expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police, Inspector General of Police, and Police Service Commission on behalf of the promoted officers.

The promoted officers promised to excel in their new roles, upholding the interests of the force and the nation.

Similarly, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ondo State decorated 505 promoted officers.

These promotions aim to boost morale and recognize outstanding service within the forces.
