Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has emphasized the crucial role of infrastructure development in driving economic growth and good governance.
He made this statement while hosting the executives of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) led by their 34th President, Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, at the Government House in Osogbo.
Governor Adeleke highlighted his administration’s commitment to bridging the infrastructure gap in Osun State, citing the ongoing construction projects across the 30 local governments and area council.
He expressed delight in hosting the NSE executives and appreciated the award from the UK chapter of the Nigeria Society of Engineers.
Engr. Oguntala commended Governor Adeleke’s infrastructural development strides, noting that he has fulfilled his promise of launching a 100 billion naira infrastructural project aimed at transforming the state.
She praised the vision and drive for progress by the Governor’s administration, which is transforming the state, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Osun.
The NSE presented an Award of Excellence to Governor Adeleke for his infrastructure development efforts.
