Gov Dapo Abiodun’s aide, Akinmade loses nonagenarian father

The Obamoluwa of Idanre Kingdom, High Chief Moses Ade Akinmade, is dead. He was aged 90.

The late High Chief Akinmade who died on Monday evening was a respected community leader, agriculturist, and culture enthusiast.

His son, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the Ogun State governor, announced his father’s passing in a statement on behalf of the Akinmade family of Idanre, Ondo State, on Tuesday.

The statement revealed that the sad event occurred on Monday evening.

According to Hon. Akinmade, a veteran journalist and two-time Commissioner for Information in Ondo State, the family is devastated by the loss but takes comfort in the fact that the deceased lived a distinguished life.

He described his father as a great community leader, cocoa merchant, and socialite.

High Chief Akinmade is survived by his wives and children.

The family will announce burial arrangements soon.
