Osun APC to Adeleke: Recall sacked health workers employed by Oyetola

From John Dike, Osogbo

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticized the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke for its handling of the health sector, describing it as the worst in the state’s history.

The party chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, expressed dismay at the government’s decision to delay recruiting health workers, citing the need to conserve funds for future elections.

He also condemned the sacking of health workers recruited by the previous administration, led by Governor Gboyega Oyetola, now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

Lawal questioned the government’s priorities, noting that the Governor and his family can access quality healthcare abroad while the state’s residents suffer.

He urged Governor Adeleke to address the health issues urgently, warning that the current situation is “disheartening and calls for urgent concern.”
