One of the aspirants in last Saturday’s primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, Olugbenga Edema, on Tuesday confirmed the invitation sent by the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje to meet all the aspirants in Abuja.

Ganduje, who sent a message of invitation for what could be termed peace meeting with all the APC aspirants, who have been complaining about the exercise, stated that the meeting is important.

Confirming the invitation for the meeting, Edema revealed on phone that he is ready to honour the invitation for the meeting scheduled to hold at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, on Thursday.

The invitation reads thus: “The National chairman of the All progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje send you greetings and well wishes especially at this trying period.

“The chairman is also kindly inviting all the 16 aspirants who participated at the just concluded Ondo state gubernatorial primaries for an important meeting as follows ;

“Venue : APC National secretariat conference hall.

Date ; Thursday, 25th April 2024

Time : 2pm prompt.

You are kindly advised to attend the meeting unfailingly.”
