Some yet to be identified gunmen on Monday, attacked a residence at Imoru in Ose local government area of Ondo state and kidnapped a 19-year-old girl, Adetutu Okibaloye.

The teenager, who was with her auntie, Mrs Alaba Oga when the kidnap took place, was whisked away to an unknown destination before neighbours could mobilise to rescue her.

It was gathered that her auntie, Mrs Oga, who attempted to raise alarm when the seven suspected bandits forcefully gained entrance into their building, was macheted mercilessly before they took away the girl.

The kidnappers were said to have established contacts with the family of Adetutu, demanding ten million naira ransom.

Meanwhile, operatives of the Amotekun Corps are said to be on the trail of the kidnappers, while Mrs oga, who got injured during the attack is currently receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital.
