Osun Amotekun nabs man for allegedly raping two minors

Operatives of the Western Nigeria Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun Corps in Osun, have arrested a man, Yisa Aderibigbe, for allegedly raping two minors in Osogbo, the state capital.

 

The Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi, disclosed on Monday in a statement that Aderibigbe was arrested on Thursday, after a tip-off by residents of the area where he committed the dastardly act.

 

It was gathered that Yisa lured the two minors who were aged 5 and 7 years old to an uncompleted building in the Ayepe area of Osogbo, and raped them.

 

The Amotekum boss also stated that investigation revealed that the suspect is a notorious and serial rapist.

 

He said upon interrogation the suspect confessed to committing the crime, adding that Yisa Aderibigbe will be made to face the full wrath of the law.
