Three commuters were feared killed in a road accident that occurred on the Akure-Owo expressway, Sunday morning.

The accident which involved a Toyota Sienna bus and a 12 passenger bus, occurred at the Akure end of the road.

It was gathered that 12 other people were also injured in the accident.

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Ezekiel SonAllah, confirmed the incident.

He said the crash was caused by wrongful overtaking and speed violation on the part of the drivers involved.
